Quality

The cornerstone to all that we do is the goal of providing the highest degree of quality and best of bread service to our clients while maintaining their safety.  As a result, our assessments and rehabilitation goals are tracked with objective measuring devices/tools in order to effectively gage progress.  We also utilize standardized outcome measures to track effectiveness overtime.

In 2007 FunctionAbility was awarded a three year accreditation under Accreditation Canada.  Accreditation Canada's accreditation program is used by all types of health facilities, from large and complex hospitals to community health organizations and residences providing long term care.  The benefits of participating in the program lead to achievement of excellence in the quality of services provided.  This stems from the fact that the accreditation process examines all areas of the practice including not only the clinical aspect but spanning across, human resources, information technology, environmental and management.  Consequently, receipt of the accreditation signals to the public that FunctionAbility has been measured against a set of quality parameters which have been developed/selected by Accreditation Canada as being best in class.
